welding makes permanent bonds between two metal parts and they do it very well

Injection Molding is high pressure and higher cost for tooling- Rotational is low pressure and tooling is much less metal and machining to make the tool

The burnout process starts at a low temperature (around 100°C to 200°C) to slowly evaporate any moisture from the mold. The temperature is then gradually increased to melt out the wax. This stage typically occurs between 500°C and 900°C, depending on the specific wax material and investment mold being used. Once the wax is melted, the oven holds at a high temperature (around 900°C) for a set time to ensure complete burnout of any residual wax or impurities.

While there's no definitive upper limit, walls exceeding 1 inch (25.4 mm) become increasingly challenging in rotomolding. Thicker walls take significantly longer to heat evenly throughout, extending cycle times and reducing production efficiency. Additionally, very thick walls can lead to uneven cooling and potential warping of the part.
